For generations,
golfers have driven to these mountain heights to escape the heat of
lower elevations. At play in the shadows of these breathtaking peaks,
they gain yardage at this high altitude, over water hazards and sand
traps, to the green.
Stretching nearly 7,000 yards—the only golf course in this tranquil
valley—the front nine offers open fairways with spectacular mountain
views, while the back nine is tight through the trees. An additional
nine holes are planned, resulting in 27 holes of golf in a uniquely
serene setting.
The Clubhouse was
completely renovated in spring, 2001 with expanded banquet facilities
and a gourmet restaurant. With so many fabulous improvements, golf is
about to become sweeter than it has ever been at Wolf Creek Resort.
